There’s a trend happening in very high-end hotels with fancy restaurants joining their operations. This is especially true in Las Vegas, where names like Wolfgang Puck and Bobby Flay are just as much tourist attractions as Celine Dion. But a Hilton, Marriott, or similar chain will have its own kitchen, too, with dining hours and room service attached to them. JobMonkey stresses that there can be many factors playing into the kitchen’s schedule, but the number-one concern should be efficiency. People staying in a hotel are rarely doing so specifically to be at a hotel— unless it’s one of those places like in Vegas with the casinos built in—so ensuring their dining needs are attended to as quickly as possible is the most important priority.
